With a focus on the small business market segment, Orion First provides commercial loan services and credit scoring tools enabling small business lenders to mitigate risk, maximize portfolio performance, and focus on what they do best — originate loans.
As a key player in the national small business finance marketplace, Orion First actively attends conferences year round to stay up to date on industry happenings. While traveling around the country every year for trade events has been key to Orion’s new business efforts, they saw an opportunity to do more.
Standing by its motto, “Serving those who fund small business,” Orion decided to host a local conference. This event would provide them the platform to support the industry by bringing together top industry influencers for two quality days focused on networking, innovation, and helping small businesses grow and flourish.
As Orion’s complete event support, we built thelendingforum.com to streamline event registration, promote the conference, and communicate event details with participants. Leading up the day of the event, we designed and printed all of the event materials, location signage, press release, and managed the online registration of attendees.
Our efforts resulted in a successful event for Orion First, with a full guest list, relevant and engaging speakers, and jubilant meet and greet attendees that enjoyed a private boat cruise through the South Sound.
In 2017 Orion expanded the Small Business Lending Forum offerings and increased their sponsorship goals to match. We worked with them to develop a range of sponsorship levels to target both first-time and repeat sponsors. A comprehensive Sponsorship Prospectus was then designed and distributed to promote the availability and value of sponsoring the event.
As a result Orion First was able to surpass their 2017 sponsorship goal of $35,000 and host another successful event.
